Email and Attachment Management for
Outlook

Automatically manage
and take control of all emails and attachments for
your projects, clients, jobs and general daily
business. Ensure they are saved, stored, archived,
copied, moved, protected, shared or hidden and backed
up. Email and attachments can now be accessed by
anyone company wide (user permissions allowing) via
your existing folder structure and controlled by your
existing user permissions. All this can be achieved
automatically without any manual intervention from
users or reliance on users.
Mailpoint is an email and attachment
management Outlook Add-In. It will automatically save
and remove, (or prompt the user to save and remove), attachments and/or make copies of the
actual emails in
to any number of specified predefined folders. Default
and customisable rules (based on the emails’ text
content, sender or recipient address) can be used to control emails
and attachments. NOTE - even though the attachment has
been removed from the email the attachments can still be opened
from inside the email just as normal; the association
between attachment and email is not lost.
Mailpoint will also schedule email archiving as
individual emails (i.e. in MSG format, not huge PST
files) into your chosen
external location and has a built in email search and browser to view
all the archived emails from within Outlook, (no need
to import/export huge PST files anymore). The
archiving can also be manually activated at any time.
Mailpoint saves disk and email space and greatly
improves Outlook and Exchange Server's efficiency and
performance. (Note - Exchange Server is not a
requirement).
Exchange Server’s email database will become on
average 12 times
smaller instantly and disk space will never grow out
of control. There is no need to set limits on users’
mailboxes or manually tidy up users’ mailboxes
anymore.
Mailpoint can process existing emails and attachments
in your Inbox and Sent Items, not just the new ones.

Beta version coming soon:
Optional prompts to force manual saving of emails
and attachments to pre-defined folder locations. This
new addition gives fast and easy 'one-click' saving
convenience to compliment Mailpoint's automated
saving features. This feature ensures all users follow
procedures and deal with emails correctly without
disrupting normal business.
Other
new features include: Email search, instant manual
archiving and instant attachment removal from Sent
emails.
